CPI 3.7% YoY. Sticky print, yields up, risk off. BTC back near the low-$82k zone. Macro still owns the beta.

Markets were choppy overnight: Korea selloff hit risk assets, leveraged longs got flushed, BTC dipped below $81K then reclaimed ~$83K. US CPI lands Wednesday. After the wipeout, watch whether leverage is reset and what the data does to direction.

[Derive.xyz @DeriveXYZ]

It’s been a turbulent week, and when you look through the June to September options book on Derive, you can see a clear split between how traders are positioning BTC/ETH versus HYPE.

$BTC and $ETH still look more like range and vol markets than clean directional bets. BTC positioning is concentrated around June, with traders active in downside protection and upside calls, while ETH has a slightly cleaner upside lean into July and September with strikes around 2.8k, 3k and 3.2k showing up. Neither book looks like traders are all-in on one side.

$HYPE is diverging. Since the Arthur Hayes sell, the market has had a public reason to fade the move, however the options book still has real upside activity sitting in it with June 26 call activity clustered around 55/60/80 and September 25 still showing size around 55, plus further upside at 80/110/150.

The TL;DR is: BTC and ETH options are being used to hedge/manage volatility, while HYPE is more for upside optionality.

🚨 Droidsmiths, we heard you.

Beskar Droid prices were way too steep for a single variant. We overstepped, and we're fixing it now. These changes are now live in v1.13.1

Epic Multiplier: 4,000x → 125x
Legendary Multiplier: 15,000x → 400x

Here's what that means for Beskar Droids (Before → After):
🔷 Groundmech (Min Epic): 3.6B → 112.5M
🔷 Gunrunner (Max Epic): 25.2B → 787.5M
🔶 Proto-Roller (Min Leg): 330B → 8.8B
🔶 R7 (Max Leg): 555B → 14.8B

Thank you for being passionate enough to speak up. That feedback makes this game better.

The Beskar grind should feel good — not impossible.

THIS IS THE WAY. 🤖

• Integrated Amper. @helloamper brings Derive options into a DeFi agent interface for swaps, lending, perps and options.

• Stradle execution. @StradleXYZ now combines options aggregation, execution and simplified payoff visualisation.

• Launched ADA options. The first large ADA options trade hit the tape: a ~$5M call spread collateralized with ADA.

• Agentic trading competition. Co-sponsored @_hummingbot’s Condor Builders Cup, the first live trading competition for AI agents.

On to June.
