@jilnotjill When done cooking with my cast iron, I add a couple of cups of water and simmer with some sea salt for a few minutes, run a spatula to loosen residue, rinse, dry and oil. It is easy peasy unless you are my DH who always leaves it to me because he doesn't want to 'mess it up'
@kmeyersemery@museumofplay Visiting @oldsturbridge living history museum with two great aunts. I loved the hands-on experiences of a day in the life of someone from the early 1800. I also remember thinking those kids had way too many chores! Still love living history museums today.
