Abstract is changing its policy regarding the handling of tokens on the chain.
It's relatively easy for us to curate the apps listed on the Abstract portal because we work closely with each team and know exactly what product they are releasing to users.
Tokens, however, are much more subjective in nature and can often have large amounts of holders that span many different groups. Therefore, we've decided to take a much more hands-off approach moving forward. Tokens will be verified on the basis of objective metrics that we can validate onchain. Abstract team members will no longer comment on specific tokens or their respective teams on any platform.
It made sense to be more hands-on with tokens earlier on, but the Abstract token ecosystem has now grown large enough to self-regulate itself. I'm excited to see this next phase of token growth take off on Abstract driven by the community.
Abstract is the sleeping giant of consumer blockchains.
The onchain numbers are consistently growing and they're onboarding a unique set of applications.
Currently averaging 250k transactions per day and that number has spiked double of that in past months.
Abstract has global wallets to provide a good onboarding experience since they're a consumer blockchain which can be used to track new and existing users.
Wallets deployed have gone between 70k to 40k over the past month.
As of June 2025, per @0xCygaar, @AbstractChain ranked 3rd in revenue among Ethereum L2s, after just four months of launch.
A few teams have already crossed $1M in revenue on Abstract in recent months. While I don’t have direct data to confirm, Cygaar highlighted it, and it’s impressive given it happened without major fundraising or token launches.
That said, the future of any chain lies in its vision and builders. Abstract has done well in shaping a narrative around creator onboarding and in building a robust ecosystem.
Their ecosystem looks great with apps and games like:
- @PenguClash
- @PirateNation
- @MoodyMights
- @DeathFunGame
- @RoachRacingClub
- @playgigaverse
Overall, I think @LucaNetz, @0xCygaar, @CashBowie, @0xLoMel, @masoncags, @jarrodwatts and the team are building something strong.
The founder success team is also bullish on chains like @AbstractChain, and worked alongside Gigaverse during their recent fundraising.
I’d like to see @AbstractChain reimburse the $POLLY project $8K for the audit they required for @pollyprizexyz to be listed on the Portal.
It was positioned as the final step for listing. When they needed attention and volume, they dangled a listing, only to rug and pull it back once they felt they didn’t need it anymore.
Do the right thing, Phin.
I’m stoked with my generational entry for $PNKSTR / $BIRBSTR entry on ETH 👀
Next 10X six-figure play already lined up🚀
This is why you diversify and “diversify” doesn’t mean holding 10 random memes.
It means 1–2 strong plays across sectors: Meme, NFT, BTC, ETH, DeFi. That’s all you need.
The trench larps on went full tilt into @AbstractChain, saw 6-figs in their wallet for the first time, then round-tripped it all… now they’re crying.
Stick with the best IP:
$PENGU & $POLLY 🩷💙
