North Gaston's automotive and carpentry classes got to visit the CTE Career Center to get hands on learning simulations on driving a dump truck, welding, painting and virtual reality head sets.

What a great visit to the Ag Center Fire Department in Dallas to check on our intern Elijah Herron. Elijah already has all of his certifications and is now working on learning all the policies and procedures at the fire department.
This is North Gaston’s first time hosting Lincolnton branch of the YMCA for a Lunch and Learn experience for our students. Lots of great summer opportunities!
Hunter Broome, Marcus Turner, and Charles Eason were selected to represent North Gaston at the Greater Charlotte Auto Dealer Competition in late March. Students are practicing using scan tools to diagnose electrical issues at Nissan of Gastonia. Good luck gentlemen.
Peyton Wilson secured an internship at J&L Machine and Fabrication in Stanley, NC. Peyton wants to be a welder after graduation. He is gaining lots of experience in metal working at J&L.
