@itsnwts Hot Take: putting toilet paper on the list and not putting what kind is the display of lack of communication.
The expectation should not be for our spouses to read our minds (goes for women and men).
@SandSteelCotton Which ranchers are you talking to? Trying to get someone to discuss things because what I’ve heard is it’s a supply issue why it’s so expensive. I’ve also heard Biden started it with South America. Is it just the supply of the major brand name meat packing? Or not?
@TheStraySaint Most beef is local and the supply is low. Are you saying there’s more supply at a family farm?! If so, why aren’t people working with each other to look at that option?
@patriot_savvy@POTUS@MeriwetherFarms Because there’s a risk of mad cow disease breaching into our food supply.
I am not saying there’s a perfect solution. But what other options do we have? Definitely open to discussion.
@bbskodon@Lansd53@AngelaBelcamino This is my concern too. But because I know you can’t just produce animals ready to eat; I don’t know what other options we have.
@gioman62@Lansd53@AngelaBelcamino You do realize that any produce and meat doesn’t come out “ready to eat”, correct?
Beef takes at least 6-12 months to get ready. So if we just went American; it’ll take us years to get inventory up.
@Lansd53@AngelaBelcamino There is a problem;
If someone imports a cow or beef with mad cow; it becomes our problem.
I also know the solution isn’t produce more beef.
So my question to you; outside importing; what were the other options we could do?
@ThomBrady5 Have you thought that the previous administration culled guess and breeding a cow doesn’t mean they magically become ready for production overnight?
I don’t like this option either. But the better way to handle criticism of it right now is to ask what are our other options?
