oh jeonghan 🥹🤍
eng trans of the parent's message:
"Hello, Teacher Jeonghan. I'm the mother of the student who gave you a letter. Seeing you again, even through a screen, makes me so happy.
I remember the first time I saw you during the open class for parents. I was genuinely amazed by the way you encouraged each child to accomplish things on their own, while considering their individual abilities and needs. It was clear to me how sincerely you cared for and loved the children.
Looking after third-year high school students at a special education school certainly couldn't have been easy. But you accompanied them on so many field trips and training activities, and you even stayed overnight with the children to take care of them.
My son believes that you are the coolest person in the entire world.
He admired how you looked wearing a hat and mask during outdoor activities so much that he began wearing a hat and mask in the same colors as yours.
To this day, whenever he wants to look cool, he puts on a white hat before going out, just like you.
You truly hold a special place in my son's heart, Teacher Jeonghan.
Thank you for loving and caring for our children with such sincerity, and for being the kind of wonderful teacher my son will remember for a very long time."

@notyourchutki@minghaocheoI_ But yes, goblin also allows him to guarantee either a solo win or noone wins. Just that it is out of his control whether he wins or not
I genuinely have so many thoughts on the newest episode of going seventeen pertaining to its game design and social dynamic and how it led to this amazing episode conclusion.
But i simply dont have the energy to type it all out, and is all just clouding my head
@minghaocheoI_ Switching to sniper or mafia could have similar game winning effects, but would ultimately depend on night order game mechanics once again.
From what I see, seems like trouble maker acts last, and would mean he would not be able to make abilty choices
@minghaocheoI_ Actually, thinking about it more, vernon choosing to become the revolutionary guaranteed him to not let mingyu solo win (guaranteeing him money or no one gets money).
This is the only character he could’ve done it with, regardless of who DK chooses to kill.
@minghaocheoI_ Alternatively, he could’ve chosen to become the doctor (and save himself), but I’m not too sure how the mechanics work, since there seemed to be a order in which role abilities work at night
another svtbnd crumbs!
🚪 do you like svt sunbaenim?
🐶 i like them so much
🚪 which member do you like?
🐶 i like~ mingyu sunbaenim
🚪 not seungkwan?
🐶 🤯 ah seungkwan hyung!
🐶 (giggling)
🐶 🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫
and he was randomly singing super at the beginning too 😭 so cute
ps. this fancall was before jaehyun filmed the small talk club, so if someone asked him this again now, i wonder if his cheollie hyung would get sulky /j lol
If we're going to talk about vocal technique, musicology, and pedagogy, then let's actually be precise about what we're discussing, because there are quite a few fundamentally flawed claims being bundled together under the guise of an "objective" analysis here.
First, calling Seungkwan a “self-taught singer” is already a strange starting point. K-pop training is not simply “memorize the choreography, memorize the song, and go on stage.” Trainees receive formal instruction in breath management, registration, diction, pitch control, and musicality, even if depth and methodology vary across companies.
Dismissing someone as "self-taught" based purely on subjective listening isn't analysis;
it's an assumption treated as fact.
Then there is the claim that he “relies too much on head voice.” This is where weaponizing terminology falls apart. Head voice is not a synonym for poor technique, weakness, or vocal deficiency. It is a legitimate, essential vocal registration. Vocalists navigate different registrations and coordinations depending on range, vowel modification, acoustic resonance, volume, and stylistic intent. One can certainly discuss registration balance, breath support, or transition efficiency, but stating “he uses head voice a lot” tells us virtually nothing about technical competence.
Furthermore, registration terminology isn't even universally standardized across every vocal pedagogy framework, making it completely absurd to treat a single label as a numeric technical deduction.
The harmony argument is where the methodological breakdown becomes even more glaring.
The post correctly notes that unison and harmony are distinct. True. But then it makes massive logical leaps: jumping from “he learns harmony parts through repetition” to “therefore he doesn't understand harmony,” and further to “the vocal unit struggles to harmonize because of him.” None of these propositions naturally follow one another.
Reproducing harmony lines through repetition is not proof of harmonic illiteracy. In reality, aural learning, imitation, and repetition are foundational pedagogical tools through which musicians develop internal pitch relationships and harmonic perception. Singers do not need to analytically diagram every interval before they can execute it accurately. The premise that a singer who relies heavily on ear-training cannot harmonize is simply musically false.
More importantly, ensemble harmony is never a matter of a single person possessing or lacking an isolated "harmony ability." It relies on blend, intonation, vowel matching, formant tuning, dynamics, phrasing, voicing, arrangement, and microphone coordination.
Claiming an entire unit’s harmonic balance falters because of one individual is a massive causal claim that requires rigorous examination of arrangements, stems, pitch centers, and acoustic environments, rather than a broad subjective impression.
The same issue applies to the claim of "inconsistency in live performances." Inconsistent in what metric? Pitch accuracy? Support? Registration shifts? Breath management? Live stages are not controlled acoustic studios; physical movement, in-ear monitoring, choreography, and venue acoustics all dictate vocal output. Labeling something "inconsistent" without measurable technical parameters is just personal taste disguised as an audit.
Critiquing a vocalist is fine.
Preferring a different tone, heavier chest resonance, or pointing out an unstable transition in a specific performance are completely normal discussions. But there is a massive line between "I dislike the stylistic choices or tone here" and "this proves poor technique."
Slapping a disclaimer like "if you don't know the difference, don't assume this is hate" doesn't magically make an argument technically sound. "Head voice," "can't harmonize," "self-taught," and "inconsistent" are four completely separate claims, none of which have been methodologically demonstrated here.

people are badmouthing dokyeom without even knowing WHO HE REALLY IS, and that’s what makes me so angry. dokyeom is one of the most sensitive members of seventeen and one of the members who expresses his feelings the most. he has always been open about his emotions, so y’all mocking him because he cried???
he didn’t cry simply because he was “scared of enlistment”. everything suddenly felt real for him. he’s going to be away from the members, his family, and carats. his sister is pregnant and was due to give birth around the same time as his enlistment, and he had been looking forward to meeting his niece.
dokyeom is such a kind and precious person. he’s someone who can make everyone smile, which is why he isn’t called our HAPPY VIRUS for nothing. it hurts to see one of the happiest people, someone who is always making everyone laugh, be the one crying and then seeing people use that vulnerable moment against him is disgusting.
calling him a “manchild” is something i will NEVER shut up about 🤬 and the “my faves didn’t cry” comments??? OH JUST SHUT UP!!! this isn’t a competition. men are allowed to cry. everyone processes difficult situations differently, and crying doesn’t make him weak, immature, or less of a man.
and all of this has NOTHING to do with that group. if you have an issue with the fans, then attack the fans not the idols. stop dragging dokyeom into something that has nothing to do with him.
forced conscription is NOT a fucking joke. you can criticize a system that forces people to leave their families and loved ones and put their lives on hold without mocking the people who are subjected to it. there is nothing wrong with acknowledging how harsh and dehumanizing forced military service can feel while still respecting the people who have to go through it.
and one thing i genuinely don’t understand is their so-called “proof”. some of the screenshot that are being used weren’t even carats. yet y’all are getting rage-baited so easily by newly made accounts or accounts that aren’t even k-pop-related. instead of reporting those tweets and moving on, y’all keep engaging with them, giving them exactly the attention they want. that only makes everything worse.
having this much hatred in your heart and head while he is surrounded by love in the real world is honestly so bizarre. we don’t need your sympathy. this is our business, and somehow y’all love minding other people’s business so well. it must’ve been so boring over there, awww.
SO JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP AND FOCUS ON YOUR FAVES!!! 🤬 leave him alone. let him feel. let him cry. let him be human.
