@Buffsburner97 I can respect that, I was just commenting on people thinking this is new for CU. They aren’t the first two number to be retired they are the 5th and 6th person to get their number hung up is all
kid has over *100* school records, broke the program passing touchdown record in two seasons, longest passing touchdown streak in FBS/FCS history, won the unitas award, All-American, and B12 OPOY.
you can argue it’s too soon, but the credentials are there.
No outsider will ever understand what these two did for a program stuck in the deepest trench of irrelevance.
And that’s okay, they don’t need to, but they sure love to share their opinions.
If it weren’t for 2 & 12 (and Coach Prime) no outsider would have ever had a reason to have an opinion about anything Colorado Football related ever again.
And that’s exactly the point.
No. 2 & No. 12 — Officially Untouchable. 🦬
Witness Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter have their jersey numbers retired during the Spring Game on April 19th.

@WilliamBonnie2 Hunter shouldn’t be an argument and Sanders has all of these records for how short he was in CU, it’s not like a Bronny James going to the NBA he has stats 🙄 also doesn’t matter what you say on Saturday it’s happening so no need to bitch about it
