I was clearly wrong about Anthropic. They are obviously currently the leader in AI. No company has released a model as good as Mythos/Fable and they will undoubtedly have Mythos 2 ready soon.
And I would never cut them off in a way that hurt them badly, even as a competitor. That’s not my style.
Tesla open sourced its patents and we made the Supercharger network available to all competitors, even though we could have made it a walled garden.
SpaceX launches competing satellite systems with no increase in price or use of unfair terms.
Even my worst enemies can attack me on this platform.

Introducing Claude Fable 5: a Mythos-class model that we’ve made safe for general use.
Its capabilities exceed those of any model we’ve ever made generally available.
Google released image creation and editing directly inside Gemini Live, allowing users to generate or modify images in real time while using the Gemini app.
The feature works through live camera sharing, so users can show Gemini what they are looking at and ask it to create, adjust, or explain visuals on the spot.
Introducing a more powerful NotebookLM 🚀
Massive upgrades deliver agentic capabilities in chat, more advanced reasoning, and a suite of new output formats. Tackling complex, multi-step research problems has never been easier.
Rolling out now to Google AI Ultra subscribers.
We just shipped the ability to build apps that connect to Gmail, Drive, Sheets, and more directly inside of @GoogleAIStudio, no navigating to other sites, you can add testers right inside of AI Studio, with full public sharing coming soon!!
Welcome to the NVIDIA RTX Spark channel.
A new superchip for the age of personal AI.
Don't worry, your favorite NVIDIA local AI content continues on right here, just with a new headliner.
Let's get started...
Claude Opus 4.8 is out today. It's our strongest coding model yet: up on SWE-bench Pro (from 64.3 to 69.2) and noticeably more honest about its own work. It tells you when it's unsure and catches its own bugs instead of declaring victory early. Same price as 4.7.
Look back at last week’s I/O announcements with @NotebookLM.
You can listen to an audio overview, watch the video recap, and even check out our detailed slide deck summarizing all of the biggest news and launches.

Holy shit...Yesterday both OpenAI and Anthropic dropped their official prompt engineering guides… and almost no one realizes what just happened.
Everyone’s been saying: “GPT feels worse” “Claude got dumber”
That’s not what’s happening.
They got smarter. Smarter in a way that exposes your thinking.
Here’s the shift most people are missing:
Claude (Opus 4.7) → becoming brutally literal
It used to “guess” what you meant.
Fill gaps. Smooth over lazy prompts.
Now?
It does exactly what you say.
No interpretation. No assumptions. No rescue.
→ Vague prompt = narrow, rigid output
GPT-5.5 → becoming outcome-driven and autonomous
It used to need step-by-step babysitting.
Now?
You define the result… it figures out the path.
→ Over-detailed prompts = noise, not control
Same problem. Opposite failure modes.
And that’s why your old prompts are breaking:
Claude punishes ambiguity
GPT punishes over-specification
For the last 3 years, prompt engineering was:
“Teach the model how to think”
Now it’s:
“Prove that you can think clearly.”
This is the real shift:
Prompting is no longer about instructions.
It’s about clarity.
What exactly do you want?
What does “good” look like?
What constraints actually matter?
If you can’t answer that…
No model can save you anymore.
The bottleneck isn’t AI capability now.
It’s human precision.
And going forward, the people who win won’t be the ones writing 500-line prompts…
They’ll be the ones who know exactly what they want—in one paragraph.
How do people seek guidance from Claude?
We looked at 1M conversations to understand what questions people ask, how Claude responds, and where it slips into sycophancy. We used what we found to improve how we trained Opus 4.7 and Mythos Preview.

Hey @NotebookLM @GeminiApp Big fan and long time user- was thrilled a cpl months ago to be able to add a NotebookLM as source for my Gem. Now I can't anymore and the ones I added were removed without my knowledge on my Google Pro acct and I had to manually add the sources:(
