Nigeria cannot continue to normalize insecurity and the loss of innocent lives. The tragic kidnapping and reported beheading of a teacher in the Oyo case of May 18 is heartbreaking and deeply disturbing.

This is not about politics or party affiliation but it is about humanity, safety, and the government’s responsibility to protect citizens. Nigerians deserve to live, work, travel, and teach without fear of abduction or death.

We call on relevant authorities to act decisively against kidnapping, strengthen security efforts, ensure justice for victims, and prevent more families from suffering these painful losses. Silence and inaction are no longer acceptable.

Are the bandits greater than our security forces?
To kidnap innocent people with valuable lives. Citizens especially!
