So fortunate to have staff who can speak 3 different languages to assist our victims who donβt speak English. Love hearing the conversations and knowing my staff are assisting those victims with Language barriers!! #stopDV#CALD#WDVCAS
So interesting to see the number of DV referrals change with the outcome of the footy over the weekend! I wonder what will happen after next Friday night's game when Sharks take on Melbourne!
Penshurst is an area that our service WDVCAS covers. Dawn Butterworth was a victim of a cruel act and wasnβt known to our service. Sometimes the first violent act is the most dangerous one. Please remember to talk to someone if you are experiencing DV. #dvisnotok
Penshurst: Friends of 67-year-old Dawn Butterworth say her health had been in serious decline but lifelong partner Alan Greentree had been a great support. Today he was charged with her murder and refused bail.

"In what other crime are we, as a matter of course, asked to consider 'what made him snap' as if there is any set of circumstances that validate a mass murder?"
Men who murder their families should never be described as 'good blokes'. https://t.co/JjcPVFlwum
