That’s called an, “homage,” it’s made clear it’s intentional and transparent because the bank manager is *the same actor in both movies* lol please I am begging this slice of twitter to develop basic media literacy
Walked out of the Odyssey an hour and a bit in.
Even before that we saw at least four people leave and not return.
A complete and utter borefest with laughable casting and performances.
I thought Oppenheimer was boring but this was somehow even worse.
Honestly feels like a bad joke of a movie with literally very little substance. So much hype over nothing besides Christopher Nolan living off hype created forever ago.
I do not recommend it in the slightest.
By any standard measure in Hollywood, this film is an extraordinary flop. Costing $375M including P&A and marketing, the film needs to make $750M at the box office before it hits breakeven. It's a disaster and all the woke and fake news in the world can't cover for it this time.
am i the only one who doesn’t care about the odyssey & will maybe watch it on an airplane at some point in the future?
why are ppl standing in line for this?!?
Alright you Muppets.
YESTERDAY I posted my UNBIASED, nice, logical, honest review of Nolan's Odyssey.
TOMORROW I'm gonna post my BIASED review. Yes, you read that right. I'm gonna be biased alright.
I'm gonna trash the man and every single politically motivated anti-Greek choice while mercilessly mocking every single one of those clown actors who defended his anti-Greek casting and choices while disrespecting Homer.
I will have no mercy. No quarters given TOMORROW IS THE DAY Nolan!
NOOOOOOLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!
I'm gonna make you regret it all NOOOOLAAAAN! Tomorrow the 19.
Refresh the page until you see it!!! (probably around Midday (ish) Central, depending on editing time.
Christopher Nolan spent $250 million on this.
So, I was watching Ellen Page a woman trying to portray a man who was then trying to portray a Greek warrior.
The film opens with Travis Scott as a black bard. Then Elliot Page as a Greek soldier. Korean and Indian warriors in the Greek army.
Within the first few minutes it looks like downtown Detroit.
The writing is the worst part. Penelope’s entire character is just I want Odysseus. I miss Odysseus.
