Today was the worst and most traumatizing day of my life.
After over 15 years my best friend Mango is gone. I loved him so much and it always brought me joy to see him make others happy too. I will miss him every day for the rest of my life.
Thank you for everything Mango. ❤️

Mango hasn’t moved much from chairs pushed together under the table. I’ve brought wet food and water and he eats a small amount, then purrs and snuggles while being pet.
He just jumped onto my lap for 15 minutes then walked to his dry food he hasn’t touched in WEEKS and ate! 😭❤️

MANGO UPDATE!

I lost track of how many oncologists I called that couldn’t help soon. Found one in Northampton 2 hours away that gave chemo! I’m really hopeful this helps.

Thanks so much for everyone’s support! It means a lot and has been SO helpful.

So the notes from the oncologist consult say Mango has cancer and could have days to live.
BUT “with treatment there’s a reasonable chance he could do well for a year or more.”
BUT the oncologist is busy and the earliest I could find with a referral was mid-December.
WTF! 😾🤬🤬

He’s spent all night hiding in dark spots like underneath the sink which makes me so sad but at least he looks like he’s comfy at the moment.
