@Prof_Murdoch @universalstc I'm no expert, but in my forays on EEBO I couldn’t find an earlier text offering a region by region survey of Sweden alongside reflections on its marital customs and the Finnish language. But I can see how the title could mislead so I’ll keep that in mind in future.
This piece was great fun to write. I spend much of my time on what the Scandinavian and Nordic regions thought of each other, so it gave me a great excuse to get an outside perspective. Thanks @universalstc for giving me this opportunity!
