On March 24, 2018, she married on their 3rd anniversary in front of 225 guests. Her husband shaved his head for support, and she carried photos of her late parents.

She passed away in October 2018 at age 30, about 7 months later. She died peacefully at home, in the arms of her husband Michael, after their wedding day.

The reply said it was found behind a drawer after about 50 years. She had hidden her gender in the application and said she wasn’t afraid of injury. She never gave up and lived a bold life.

She worked as a snake handler, horse trainer, and later became a pilot and flying instructor. Looking back, she calls the delayed reply amazing and says she would choose the same life again.

A bar chain in Japan called Yotteba had a strange service. For about €3, drunk customers could ask a waitress to slap them to wake them up.

Some people even paid more to choose the waitress. The idea was to help them sober up before leaving the bar after drinking too much alcohol.

The service stopped after one customer complained about getting hurt. The company now wants to change its image and stop this type of service.
