Calling victims and survivors "bigots," is dehumanizing and devaluing.
It's also aligning oneself with the perpetrators.
If you care about victims until you disagree with them –– you disagree with victims.
@danielmarans@RossBarkan One case of plagiarism is still plagiarism. You've noted three. Why do you want to water down standards so Ross can continued to be published? There are other people who can do his job and haven't had *any* cases of plagiarism.
Looking forward to Ross' upcoming true crime blockbuster: "If I Did It." Followed by his comeback book: "Lean In."
Geez, he's so prolific. How does he do it?!
I talked to many who mobilized to feed people during the Pandemic. It was humbling to see these caterers and restaurant owners rising to the occasion and meeting the moment –– but most importantly feeding people who needed food. They were innovative, creative and effective. And none of their ideas were dumping $70M into five stores that won't open for years, even if they open on schedule. If there could be a more expensive less effective way to feed people, I can't think of one.
This city has reeked of horse poop for more than four centuries. Italians and Irish rightfully claim they built NYC, but only with the help of horse power. This city was built on the backs of these magnificent creatures and the only access people have to that history and smell is with a Teamster driver in Central Park. I can't express how *very* New York that is. A law banning our history named after a tourist?! Madam Speaker, I hope you reconsider.
Freelance journalist here: Ghouls and reporters are not mutually exclusive.
And no matter how odious these women are, they're part of a free press. I would rather have these lunatics with no self-irony prattle on about who deserves to die or not than limit access to independents and freelancers.
Swalwall: These accusations are false and I'm resigning from Congress because I'm totally innocent and behaving like a totally innocent person would obvious behave.
@ms_frazzled Yep. Roger Stone is a red herring. It gives liberals imagined reasonable doubt and then they end up being suspicious of the women whom they now assume are lying and conspiring to take down a good man. They think they're being skeptical when they're being played by the right.
