Over the past couple of weeks, our S2 pupils have been battling it out in the Shell Schools Technology Challenge, run by Aberdeen College. These two have made it to the Aberdeen final and will compete against the other schools on the 25th May at Aberdeen College’s Altens campus
Our S2 team enjoyed today’s North East Building your Future event and were delighted to win through to the next round! Their challenges included branding, debating heritage and imagining more eco friendly buildings. #skills#construction @DYW_NorthEast @CultsAcademy
Amazing team work and problem-solving from these two pupils meant that they will put @CultsAcademy on the NESCOL and Shell Energy Challenge winners shield for 2022 and they were each rewarded with an iPad to play with over the long weekend. Congratulations 👏
Our S4 boys did us proud at the Prince’s Trust Enterprise Final in Glasgow. Their pitch on sustainable recycling was very well received. Well done boys 👏
All of our S2 pupils have been competing in the Shell Energy Challenge. Congratulations to Cameron Welsh and Hannah Roberts who are the winners from @CultsAcademy and will go on to face other Aberdeen City schools in the final on the 2nd June.

Our DYW and Extra Curricular School Captains have used the @mywowscotland subject specific career posters to create a wall display which can’t be missed! These posters will be appearing all over the school to provide career inspiration to all of our young people. Great work! 👏
