6. I've traveled a lot, all over the world, and @WestJet's service is truly the worst I've experienced, anywhere. With that alone, I wouldn't fly them again. But, and as if the "experience" couldn't get any more abysmal... we checked four bags (and we watched them go through...)
10. @WestJet, absolutely SHAME ON YOU for making our flying experience so miserable from before we even set off on our journey to when we landed.
You don't deserve any business and I truly hope your sales suffer... if they aren't already.
9. It was bad enough when @WestJet recently introduced its laughable "Ultrabasic" fare (where they basically have you sit on the floor in the bathroom). You can rest assured that, with WJ, your flying experience will be "ultra basic" no matter WHICH class you choose to fly.
8. I don't have any clothes...my three-year-old's things are missing (including his carseat - which, by the way, we will NEVER check again, but only did it because we had so much luggage and in the rush and chaos made a split decision to do so). @WestJet, where's our luggage???
7. One bag made it to our destination... O-N-E. And it was a direct flight. And guess what? @WestJet is still "searching" for our luggage... whatever the f*&% that means. We PAID to have those bags delivered safely to us... WITH our flight.
5. I even overheard one @WestJet agent "jokingly" mumble to another that "people might miss their flights... oh, well!" like it was absolutely HILARIOUS that this was happening and that people were genuinely stressed and upset. The lack of professionalism was truly WILD.
4. The @WestJet check-in was absolute CHAOS (and that's being nice). Line-ups that twisted so long, you couldn't see where they began or ended... electronic check-in kiosks not working. It was so bad, that even though we arrived three hours early, we almost missed our flight.
3. The first @WestJet agent was so awful - and unhelpful - we asked to speak to someone else. Eventually (four hours later...), we got a new flight with a return date a week after the original one.
Yesterday, we went to @TorontoPearson airport to fly out...
2. @WestJet then CANCELLED our return flight altogether... less than a week before we were set to leave on a month-long trip. They gave NO alternatives. We called to express our dismay and waited three hours to connect to an agent. THREE HOURS to connect with a live human.
Here is my experience with @WestJet (it's the WORST Canadian airline, by the way - we only "chose" it because we literally had no other option. Please don't fly it you have ANY other option).
