@alexberesfordTV Seems fair enough to me. A personal choice ceases to be personal when has direct consequences for others. If I make the choice to drive drunk, I am putting others at risk. The only way COVID becomes manageable is if we have enough people vaccinated to ensure herd immunity.
@EastMidRailway I can’t see anything on that link about the reasoning behind stopping resvs. Having a “heat map” of passenger numbers hidden away is not helpful. @EastMidRailway has a duty of care towards its staff and passengers and if that train was anything to go by, they are failing.
I just got on and then immediately got off an @EastMidRailway train from Loughborough to London. There were too few carriages and it was packed with people standing. Stickers on the doors keep their distance but not a chance in hell of being able to do so. Why no seat resvs?
@sellottie My period was nearly two weeks late after having it. Agreed, not in any way concerned in the safety of vaccines at all and it will not stop me getting my second, but it would have been useful to know that it was a possibly.
My downstairs neighbours with the loud dog appear to have moved out, which is great, but they also seemed to have been replaced by someone who just wanders around the flat tapping on the ceiling with a stick every five minutes.
I was reminded of this song’s existence this weekend, and now I feel that, as a society, we should be regularly acknowledging that Anastasia’s 2004 hit ‘Left Outside Alone’ is an excellent song.
I really can’t believe AMT is ending! It began for me as the soundtrack to my GCSE revision breaks when I was 16 and has been with me to 29 years old! Thanks for everything, Helen, Olly and Martin! (Beth from County Durham, then Beth from Sheffield, now Beth in London) #AMT400
Supposedly ‘considerate contractors’ @balfourbeatty drilling outside our flat at 11.27pm on a Tuesday! Lewisham Gateway development! This is getting completely ridiculous. @LewishamCouncil
I haven’t worked with kids in nearly a year now since switching jobs, but I still get a momentary panic whenever I sit down at the hairdressers, considering in my head whether one of my pupils could have given me nits.
