// I mean, these are bloody incredible!!!
The talent to put it all together and the way it absolutely fits with the storylines we create... Just marvelous!
Can't praise them enough!
"I will talk down to you whenever I want, Rydan. I'm your father, whether you approve of it or not."
Tyrion stated, his tone not a harsh one in that moment. "And I will call you 'stupid' when you want to get yourself killed and achieve nothing. (We) will get justice. Together."
"I didn't say I didn't need you...I just don't need you to talk down to me like I'm some stupid kid. You lost that right years ago" he told him, though his words weren't meant cruelly
"I just...I need justice for her...I need to set things straight"
"See?" Tyrion started to slowly come back to his senses, feeling more like himself.
"That's why you need me, Rydan. I'm no fool, I know how to plan ten steps ahead of them. They're think they are so clever, but they can't see beyond their vanity and golden coins."
"I don't know...I don't have a plan" he admitted, running a hand over his features
"I just...wanted to get close to them, then maybe...one day I'd get a chance..."
"I wasn't denying, I was pointing out similarities."
He sighed once more, turning to face Rydan. "I know you want revenge and want support from it, but what did you actually plan so far, hm? Do tell. Do you plan on pulling your sword out and hoping to cut them all down?"
"And we're back to denying I'm your son? full circle..." He said, a shake of his head.
"You know...for a moment there, I actually imagined what it might be like to have your support... to have a father. Now who's the fool"
Did you ever think of showing my son that he's wrong about you, hm?
Oh, he will see how wrong he is in his ways when you actually try to kill both of us...
What a great plan.
Tyrion lead his hands to massage at his temples, feeling the clutches of a horrible headache already gripping at him harshly.
"You remind me of Jaime so much that I'm wondering if somehow your mother just went there with him in the end. Can't say I blame her... other than she
"Then I will DIE trying" He repeating, the blue of his eyes fixed on the smaller male, the tension in his features showing that he was playing no games.
He intended to pull apart the Lannisters once and for all.
"I will avenge her. you. us....even if I have to do it alone"
"You really think you are the first to try... Oh, the bounty of youth, the stupidity of it."
Tyrion turned his back to Rydan, shaking his head in disappointment. Hearing about Tysha's demise was breaking the little man's heart.
"You will not succeed and you'll die trying."
He laughed at that.
"I don't know what mother wants because she was too busy throwing up blood to tell me." He told him, no longer caring for holding back
"And I don't need a following, an army, I just need a chance...one chance to take them all down..."
"Alright then. maybe I am."
Tyrion had no witty comment to make, no actual words of comfort to say, either.
All he wanted was to get stupidly drunk and forget about this entire ordeal.
"It's not up to you to change it. You're a knight with no following. you can't stand up
That was it.
Tyrion walked over and grasped his son's arm, quite hard.
"Listen to me, you little twat!" He spoke through gritted teeth. "It isn't your fault that I'm a dwarf and no matter what you do, you will not change what people think."
The mention of Tysha made him
"Someone has to do something and since you're all too happy to sit there with your wine and whores and be made to look an idiot day after day...that falls to me....and not just for you but for my mother too..."
"And I won't stand to the side and watch my son die trying to take the burdens of the world upon himself."
Tyrion felt himself burning with worry at the prospect. He knew he wasn't there for Rydan when it mattered, but he would never accept a sacrifice now.
"I will NOT stand by whilst they make a fool out of us , out of YOU" He stated simply, outraged by that lack of concern in his 'fathers' voice
"Don't you tire of it?"
"Bet you can, Rydan."
Tyrion crossed his arms, not truly willing to listen to what his son had to say.
"That doesn't excuse the fact you've almost got yourself killed by trying to... what? Avenge me?"
