It's Budget day at Ottawa City Hall. We will be present to lift up the voices of our members who deliver quality public services each and everyday. In Our Communities, For Our Communities.
Today is the National Day of Mourning. It is dedicated to remembering those who have lost their lives, or suffered injury or illness on the job or due to a work-related tragedy.
We're happy and grateful that our residents, designated caregivers, and staff are on their way to gaining protection from the COVID-19, as this will safeguard our Home, and so many others in the community. 2/2
Specially trained Ottawa Paramedics have deployed to local Long-Term Care homes to provide #COVID19 vaccines to our most vulnerable community members
A big thank you to @DrFullertonMPP for recognizing the versatility and professionalism of Ontario's paramedics
Congratulations!!! Thank you so much for letting our paramedics be a part of your family's joyous day! They were all awarded Stork pins to commemorate this event - though I'm sure they won't forget it anytime soon. ❤️
Woo Hoo!!! Let's all give a big shout out to all the amazing members who work at Paramedic Services!!!! Thank you for helping make this a safe city #ParamedicServicesWeek
Today, 24 members from our Community Paramedic team are deploying to multiple Long-Term Care Facilities to perform swabs on residents.
Thanks to @OC_Transpo, physical distancing will be respected while in transit.
Another shout out and thank you to all our amazing front line workers helping everyone in this great city make it through these difficult days! Paramedics, child care workers, long term care, outdoor workers, inside workers and workers working from home. Thank you!!!
"These are both emergencies where people's lives are at risk. We wanted to help."
