When I say God, I mean Jesus.
Not the universe, not energy, not luck, not positive vibes, not manifestation...
I mean Jesus Christ, the son of God, crucified for my sins, buried, risen on the third day, and reigning forever.
Not a fan.
Socialism in the right direction is (exponentially) less damaging than socialism in the wrong direction… but socialism in any direction is a NET loss for many, many reasons.
Jesus didn’t come for people who had it together. He came for people who knew they didn’t.
He sat with sinners but never joined their sin, compassion without compromise.
That’s the gospel.
He runs toward broken people, not away from them.
In the book of Exodus, God reveals his personal name to Moses. The meaning behind it goes deeper than most people realize.
It's not about who you are. It's about who HE is.
THINGS YOU WILL NEVER REGRET:
1. Talking to Jesus first
2. Trusting in His timing
3. Doing the right thing
4. Surrendering your ego
5. Being patient with others
6. Giving radical forgiveness
7. Calling your mother
8. Opening your Bible
9. Worshiping while you wait
10. Praying for someone else
An umbrella cannot stop the rain but it allows us to stand in the rain.
Faith in God may not remove our trials but it gives us strength to overcome them.
No one owes you anything in this world, and true fulfillment comes when we let go of expecting something in return for the things we do for others. When you offer help or support, do it out of love and a genuine desire to serve, not because you are hoping for recognition or repayment. Conditional giving often leads to disappointment, but when you give freely and unconditionally, you experience the pure joy that comes from a heart filled with love and generosity.
Even Jesus taught that we should give without expecting anything back. He called us to live in a way that reflects the love of God, who gives freely and abundantly to all. When we do this, we not only bless others, but we ourselves are blessed in ways far greater than we could ever imagine.
Luke 6:35 (NLT): "Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked."
“No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”
Micah 6:8
Seven Things to Tell God Every Morning
1. Thank You for giving me a new day.
2. Guide my thoughts and words today.
3. Help me love others as You do!
4. Protect my family and home.
5. Give me peace in the midst of chaos.
6. Remind me You are in control.
7. I surrender everything to You.
If this is your prayer too, put Amen and share it in faith.
