I say “dude” a lot on and off stream whether speaking to someone or an inanimate object (which like always). If I offend you, please let me know.

Most of the time when I say “dude”, it replaces the f bomb, wtf, omg, etc. I don’t like dropping f bombs, so I say dude instead.

So, I use the word "dude" with everyone, regardless of gender. Is it harmful to use it in that way, given it was originally used for those who are male presenting? I want to make sure I'm not going to upset someone accidentally.
