@TheOceanTunnel@jackInYouramr0 Nah Deluxe not happening... he doubled back in Toronto for the GNX tour. Back to back nights. GNX era is over when the tour ended.
@aj_average_joe@Jasp3r_0 Anything that Dot drops that's successful is botted to y'all π€¦πΏββοΈ with literally no proof. Unlike 21 Savage and Don Toliver who had a day of negative streams.
Drake uses clipping and pays content creators to make his songs go viral on social media. Basically modern payola.
@aj_average_joe@Jasp3r_0 On the list of two Cole Stans...
TV Off and Luther are the biggest hits on all 3 albums.
Reincarnated is the best written song.
Gloria, heart pt 6, and wacced out murals are better than half of their Cole tracks.
Also Cole dropped 24 songs, GNX has 12.
@Man_Utd_19@KendrickData Both GNX and Iceman didn't have physicals the first week so the pure sales actually are comparable. It actually is strange that Iceman had much less pure sales. Drake's fans don't want to pay for music or something.
TFO had special edition vinyls first week so not comparable.
@Man_Utd_19@KendrickData So it's actually not that easy to compare the two when you consider all the changes. That's why I never like just looking at the first week sale numbers from Billboard.
Spotify streams or pure sales is a more consistent stat.
@Man_Utd_19@KendrickData The YT data being excluded from Billboard does play in here. It's unclear how much more streams YT would have contributed for Drake.
What Did I miss was out for a year prior.
GNX didn't have a full first tracking day and had a surprise drop instead of a traditional rollout.
