@skdh Will is desire. Desire arises through thought. The root of thought is everything experienced and accumulated in the brain, this is our conditioning in which we all are caught. Without freedom from this conditioning there is no free will.
@Polymarket When our “leaders” don’t understand the implications of socialism, and the FACT that they are themselves the useful idiots
implicit in the deliberate destruction of America by our enemies, this extraordinarily dangerous moment in history cannot be overstated.
If the experience of absolute goodness only exists when we are absolute presence itself, then can it have any relationship to evil which exists only in thinking?
Without using the concepts of God and the devil is there such a thing as total uncorrupted good; or irrevocable absolute evil? Does evil exist outside of human consciousness? Is there any relationship between good and evil or is goodness a foundational quality of the world?
To be good, to have the fullness of goodness within ourselves, require cultivation and time? Or does it exist only when we are fully present, fully alive, in the present moment without the veil of thought?
@readswithravi It is also to realize that the anger is you, not different; this changes the way it is observed and to observe the thoughts and feelings without the desire to change it, in itself brings an end to it. Try it.
@PatMcAfeeShow Could it be gambling or perhaps the NFL has lost it integrity and is neck deep in the corruption of influencing games? This has been way to prevalent this year to be mere incompetence.
We need to understand us. Unfortunately at this state of human evolution we still operate from what thought has created as the “I” or “me”. This illusionary division between the thinker and the thought is the root of all conflict. If AI is designed in the image of man, which considers this “I” to be a real entity, it will simply carry on the conflict within ourselves to extraordinary heights. So yeah any input into these models that promote this sense of separate self or consciousness will be extraordinarily dangerous.
@maximumpain333 This is our life. Alone with all our past calling it our “self”. Jesus being whole could not be harmed by this conflict. If we realize that this self (I, me, mine) is an illusion constructed by thought, we then find the kingdom of heaven right here and now.
There is only the movement of thought which then invents a controller which then begins to control thought. To see this clearly is part of meditation.

@cheeseheadtv Gambling has corrupted the NFL. If the refs aren’t benefiting from this than the league has totally traded its integrity for profits gained by creating fraudulent outcomes.
Everybody is full of problems aren’t they? Do we ever look into ourselves to find the root of this sorrow or anxiety? Can their ever be an ending to this suffering? I believe there
is. It involves great attention which includes watching the mind. Nobody can do it for you we can only help others with their burdens by pointing out the path that Jesus and others have laid out for us.
I’m a huge fan Salim. Watch every broadcast. I’m not sure if he actually said those words but that is his teaching in one sentence. To him the truth is only in the here and now. As soon as that immediate perception is put into words or concepts it is no longer the whole truth (words, images, and thoughts are always partial never the whole truth).
