@Alaskanflower29 @leftistlayman @TheOmniLiberal Exactly, and the reason why it means that legally is because that is what the term meant in a technical sense. The law didn't shape the term, it was the term that shaped the law.

The AMA merely tries to expand the umbrella term for obvious reasons (to include more members).

The law *uses* the existing term physician because medical doctors who administer medication fall within its purview. The distinction between a medical doctor and a physician was already there. AMA *introduces* a new concept, "resident physician".

AMA does consider graduates as "physicians" but only because it recognizes a distinct category of "resident physicians".

The law, as well as other bodies, do not have this distinction- they have a (non licenced) MD and a (licenced) physician.

@topcowmatt Chivalry 2, not much for a story in a multiplayer game, but the gameplay is quite dynamic.

To supplement it, I tend to give backstories to my characters each time I get killed 😅 poor baker's son, pressed into service for the king, gets killed with an axe to the head 😨

Fresh take on the characters, doesn't seem as tethered to classical depictions.

Even if it may not be to everyone's taste, it's something to be studied as a concerted effort in a divergent universe

If I see a still integrated Borg drone on a vacation on Risa, I dont care the level of plausibility of the explanation. Borg dont go on vacation, especially not on Risa. And Jem'Hadar do not reproduce on their own.

@gaghyogi49 @Mirda1984 The problem is that Jem'Hadar being able to sexually reproduce is such a departure from what they are (genetically engineered, vat-bred soldiers), it destroys the purpose of the concept. Hell, it makes it easier to digest if she was part Klingon part Nausican. 2/2

@gaghyogi49 @Mirda1984 You are missing the point. Nobody is saying that a plausible explanation cannot be provided. For example, we know that the Jem'Hadar can and do rebel (DS9 4x23), and that a part of a peace treaty with the Founders would be for them to control their own reproduction. 1/2
