The moment you realize that you don’t “need” the credit - you’re whole perspective on life will change.
Releasing ego to find the bigger picture or to achieve the bigger outcome is essential for teams.
Life can be sweeter than candy if you want it to be - because how you view the world is a choice, not an outcome.
If you choose gratitude and opportunity, over lack and challenge, things just don’t ever seem as sour.
Red or blue pill?
There is nothing more challenging or rewarding, than trying to be better every day…
… for yourself, for your team, for your family and friends, and for your community.
You can’t give what you don’t already have.
Energy, love, patience, empathy, compassion, excitement, etc.
You need to develop these things for yourself first before you can give them to others.
I think one of life’s hardest perspectives to learn is knowing how to be open to lessons when they present themselves.
Ego has a funny way of cluttering the signs and signals that help us with this.
Wouldn’t it be great to just take a deep breath and turn it off?
Bad companies are destroyed by crisis, good companies survive them, and great companies are improved by them.
You could argue the same could be said about people and their careers and/or entrepreneurial pursuits.
Many futurists, visionaries, and change makers have a common perspective on life’s biggest challenges.
They all think that if we’re attacking problems that can be solved in a single lifetime…
…then we’re thinking too small.
Integrity, character, and judgment are all skills forged in the arenas of hard choices, situations, and goals.
These aren’t skills you can learn without earning them first.
Keep learning and earning.
I met someone at a wedding recently and we talked about friends throughout your life. When they come, when they go, and when they stay.
She told me “friendships are reasons, seasons, and lifetimes.”
This made me to reflect on who these people are and were in my life.

Almost always, curiosity & humility will take us far in life because the list of things you don’t know is much longer than the list of things you do know.
Freedom is so many things.
Freedom is not caring about what others think.
Freedom is being passionate about what you do everyday.
Freedom is the ability to make choices.
Freedom is unencumbered access.
Freedom is healthy relationships.
Freedom is complicated.
It’s a real skill to play the infinite game with everything you’re committed to in life.
It’s inspiring to see people operate with this mindset, almost clinically.
But those people feel and experience finite thinking just like all of us.
They’re just good at turning it off!
We all know that feeling when we eat something so good, we can’t even speak. Just silence enjoying the moment.
I am feeling that same way in #Whistler right now, but b/c of how beautiful and majestic everything is.
I don’t even want to blink. I just want to keep absorbing.
