@GameXplain Except for the Star Fox chats in returning Star Fox stages, unless the voices get dubbed over for the first time. Either way I can see a series first where each Star Fox character’s design is each based off a different game, which could finally give Krystal a chance this time.
@GameXplain Now we know who’s to be voicing the Star Fox characters in the Switch 2’s Smash Bros. game, regardless of what designs they use, but now the Seattle based voice actors from Star Fox Zero are officially outdated.
@HoopsVGM@RGreywind Used to think that Mightyena would be something to mega evolve, but since it’s a counterpart to the Zigzagoon Line, I think a further evolution would more so be in order, and that it’s exclusive to a regional form.
@GameXplain But as I guessed the voice actors would be those not based in Seattle, although surprisingly enough none of them are the same as the current voice actors of Mario characters.
@GameXplain They ruined the trend of how James McCloud always has the same voice actor as Fox. Why else would Mike West and Jim Walker have been assigned to voice him previously?
@Stealth40k The first Pokemon games that were a sign of the series abandoning the use of 3rd games for each adventure, since these are direct sequels to Black & White instead of a Pokémon Grey. It’s nice either way that Unova is about to be back sometime in Gen X.
@Stealth40k Getting hold of Super Mario 64 was unintentional after getting the Wii, as was Super Mario Galaxy which I initially bought for sake of unlocking Rosalina in Mario Kart Wii, but 2009 was the year to establish me hoping to someday have hold of every 3D Mario game in some form.
@Stealth40k Since again I had it on the Wii Virtual Console already. If I were to have played the game a second time, it would’ve been in Super Mario 3D All Stars had I gotten hold of it, but it no longer seems necessary now that the Super Mario Galaxy games have their re-releases.
@Stealth40k Played this game on the Wii virtual console back in the day, at the time I had nothing to show to the rest of the world due to what I didn’t have at the time. Alas I chose to pass on playing the game when it came to the Wii U virtual console and NSO due to already playing it.
@Stealth40k Sure was lucky to be born the same year this game released, which was even the start of Mario’s iconic voice and phrases, video game wise that is.
@Stealth40k I praise the best that this is a franchise saver like Fire Emblem Awakening and Metroid: Samus Returns as opposed to something that’ll have us wait another 10 years for the next Star Fox game or something that puts an end to the series entirely.
@Joshua60991948@Stealth40k I only see the games that released for Xbox Series S and PS5 being given Switch 2 Editions to be honest, that way they’ll be able to work the same way as those versions on a Nintendo system.
@Joshua60991948@Stealth40k Oh sounded like it was, but some of these games like Sonic Colours Ultimate in particular could maybe be given Switch 2 Editions somewhere down the line.
@Stealth40k That can be accomplished easily through #NintendoSwitch2Online, which would mean adding Wii games to the lineup. It would also mean re-releasing the infamous Sonic 06, fortunately we have a fanmade polishing of the game that I’m sure ChaosX won’t mind SEGA doing something with.
@Stealth40k One thing not announced is #NintendoSwitch2Online releases of anything. Still hope things are fulfilled with there being a system you can play every mainstream Sonic game on.
@Stealth40k But if ever they did re-release those games, would voice acting be implemented, and would more playable characters be added? The second game overall is known for introducing Cream, shame we never saw how she would play in a 3D mainstream Sonic game with more to her moveset.
@Stealth40k The Sonic Advance games certainly were something, released back in the day when games weren’t focused on Sonic himself. I would only play as Tails in those games due to how he can fly, all without realising it’s actually mandatory to play as Sonic himself.
@Stealth40k Surely not every Sonic game that came to the Switch 1 is re-releasing on the Switch 2. Surprising as it is though that none of them were Switch 1 exclusive.
@Stealth40k Don’t see why they would announce this game at the last minute right before they release it, usually that only happens with digital download exclusives.
