After spending the day wandering the banks of the River Thames in Buckinghamshire, I've been inspired to make the video I've been putting on the backburner for four years now.
Visiting Marlow yesterday reminded me of the story of Agnes Norcott, which I covered in my 2021 video Dark Tales from the River Thames. https://t.co/alFGA3s5KK

1839 & 2026. This is the oldest surviving image of London. The statue of King Charles I, taken in 1839 by Monsieur de St. Croixin. I suppose, for a moment, mine was the newest recorded image of London.
@TeamYouTube Obviously crediting the owner doesn't automatically give you rights - we all know that. My point is, I KNOW the claim is false. It happens almost every time I upload. Surely by now YouTube should have a process in place where the claimant proves ownership before making a claim.
@YouTube@YouTubeCreators How much longer should creators suffer these false copyright claims? We all know it happens and nothing changes. I always use music with a CC license, I always credit the source and I always show proof of this. So why are we 4 days into another dispute?
