🍯🐝 Buzzing into sweetness! We’re learning all about bees this week, and what better way to celebrate our favorite pollinators than with a scoop (or three) of homemade Honeycomb Ice Cream! 🐝🍦
This golden treat is creamy, dreamy, and packed with that signature honey crunch. Little hands can help stir, scoop, and sneak a few bites along the way 😋

Here’s how to make your own Honeycomb Ice Cream:

🍦 Honeycomb Ice Cream Recipe
No churn, no sting—just sweet, simple fun!

For the honeycomb toffee:
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1/4 cup water
• 2 tsp baking soda (sifted)

➡️ In a deep saucepan, heat sugar, honey, and water over medium heat without stirring. Swirl gently until golden (around 300°F). Remove from heat, quickly whisk in baking soda (it’ll foam up fast—kids love this part!). Pour onto parchment and let cool completely. Break into chunks.

For the ice cream:
• 2 cups heavy cream
• 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/3 cup crushed honeycomb toffee (plus more for topping)

➡️ Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. In a separate bowl, mix condensed milk and vanilla. Fold whipped cream into the milk mixture. Gently stir in crushed honeycomb. Pour into a loaf pan, sprinkle extra toffee on top, cover, and freeze for at least 6 hours.

🍦 Then scoop, smile, and savor the buzz-worthy flavor!

Today’s art project is a blend of creativity and fine motor fun! ✂️
We started with watercoloring a whole page green 🎨, then cut it into pieces to create a mosaic-style background. On top of that, kids designed their own flowers 🌸—petals, stems, and all—then added some buggy friends 🐞🦋 to finish their springtime masterpiece.

This project is perfect for sparking conversations about insects, textures, and layering in art!

Would your little one love this nature-inspired collage? 🌿
Save this idea for your next creative day!

Turn a plastic bottle into a mini water filter and watch muddy water transform before your eyes! 🌍💧 Kids will love layering cotton, charcoal, gravel, and sand—then seeing science in action as dirty water turns clear. 🧪

The science behind it: Each layer plays a role!
• Cotton/cloth catches large debris ☁️
