Today was Orange Shirt Day and the grade eights reflected on the impact residential schools had on Canada’s indigenous communities. We will not forget @johnmccraeps
Indigenous Ed is NOT a subcategory of equity.
Indigenous Ed is different because:
1. A nation-to-nation relationship is the goal.
2. Treaties exist (and have largely not been honoured).
3. Genocide was perpetrated against Indigenous ppl.
