Happened to me about 2 years ago. I spent months running in circles trying to figure out how to report it or reclaim control. I never managed to talk to an actual human being.

It made me never want to use a Meta product again, whether Instagram or Facebook. The only reason I re-downloaded it recently and made a new account was for Marketplace access. Beyond that, I will never use their social media again, as they have proven their worth.

Shame.

For the simple stuff, sure. But much like realtor and other similar industries, you don’t want to be caught with risk because you didn’t have an expert guide you through the process. Complex business = complex coverage needed fast, not something a computer or software can do well yet.

It wasn’t a hypothetical figure. We’d fought Japan island-to-island the whole war. We knew the massive death toll a land invasion would cause, they dug in and fought to the last man. It would’ve been brutal, lasting months or years more. The bombs ended the war sooner, decisively, and saved further American lives.

@allenanalysis It’s really simple. Supply & demand. Illegals enter → need housing (buy/rent). More buyers/renters → higher demand for apts/houses. Prices rise since US builds too few homes, and cheap-to-build areas ≠ desired locations.

It’s funny, I think this narrative would have worked better in the age without cellphone video but we have SO much video of all these incidents it just proves that almost everytime the protestors were agitators that put themselves in the position to be “gassed”, “pulled off the job” etc.
