Also want to send our support to long time PPCC member Nathan Steele, who will represent Team Ontario at the 2020 New Holland Canadian Juniors, January 18-26 in Langley B.C. Nathan plays second for Team Purdy and they represent the Cataraqui Golf & Country Club in Kingston.
On the womens side, Carol Jackson plays vice for Team Sinclair and they are representing the St. Thomas Curling Club while Debra Thompson plays second for Team Leavitt from Milton.
This week we have some Port Perry curlers who are competing at the Provincial Masters in Midland. Curling out of Oshawa, Team Norton rink has Rob Thompson playing second. The team is looking to defend their Masters Provincial championship.
In the A-Final of U21 Challenge Round, we battled back from a 6-2 deficit after 7 ends, stealing 3 points in the last 2 ends for the 7-6 win vs @TeamVBernard. With the victory, we’ve earned a spot @CurlON_ U21 Provincials @GuelphCurling Dec. 27-30. @CurlPortPerry
