This award is for everybody who voted against their own healthcare, civil rights, economic security, farms, food assistance, contracts, and opportunities because they thought Trump was only coming for somebody else.
Black folks thought "Black jobs" were waiting.

Hispanic folks thought mass deportation would skip their families.
Poor white folks thought whiteness would protect them from policies designed to make rich people richer.
Now everybody is standing around shocked, asking, "How could this happen?"

YOU VOTED FOR THIS.

The warnings were there.
The policies were public.
The receipts were available.

But hatred, misogyny, and proximity to whiteness were more important than reading the damn plan.
