As an @airfrance Platinum (@skyteam Elite Plus), I chose to fly with Delta Air Lines over shorter options to remain loyal to SkyTeam.
Delta confirmed my Flying Blue number was added pre-departure. It wasn’t.
Result: $218 charged for 2 bags that Elite Plus status entitles me to.
