Deepening connection to land & place. Gr 6/7 students visited a nearby park to learn about trees, plants, & local birds. A game of Raven Spy, nature walk, & sit spots= time to reflect & wonder about how nature communicates & what it means to be in community. @RichmondSD38
In honour of heart health, student leaders organized and led stations for our “Currie Cares in Action Day”. Students engaged in high and low intensity activities & learned about ways to care for our hearts. @RichmondSD38
Change begins with action, initiated by a group of students. When they noticed garbage around the school yard, these Gr 4 leaders decided to invite others in to help care for the land. Check out the 3C’s (Currie’s Clean-up Crew)! They’ll share their idea tomorrow! @RichmondSD38
