While I appreciate you reaching out and would be happy to chat, to be honest, I'm a bit skeptical that you work with Porter. A picture of a Porter plane is nice, but your website isn't a Porter-affiliated link, and I bet you'd use a Porter Twitter handle for your job.

@porterairlines, I've always loved you, but your customer service has been awful today. My fiancée called to make a flight change, on hold for 1.5 hours and then got hung up on. Called back, been on hold for half an hour and still waiting. Do better!

Where does kindness fit in antiracism? Is a "just be kind" approach just a "colour-blind" approach?

“My grandmother was full-blooded Métis…my mother, she was what they would’ve called a half-breed.”
Thoughts? Does language of blood-quantum and identity fractions serve a purpose today?

Small-town sports bar. Owner has picture up of friend who died. Picture doesn't i.d. friend or his job. Friend was police who shot an Indigenous man in a land claim stand-off.
Owner: “I’m not taking it down. He’s my friend.”
Is this a complex issue or just racism?

Town of 7500. Rural surroundings. Most ppl seen as white. About 1/2 pop'n Mennonite.
Participant memory of community racism.
"The town is so racist that we created a way to be racist against other white people [against Mennonites]"
What do you see here?

@OC_Transpo, I've now had two busses just not show up. One at Rideau & one at Hurdman. And this happens often. People rely on transit to get to work, school, appointments...don't blame the train delay. They should have nothing to do with a bus running on time. Get it together!
