@Beluba can you explain the gameplay design decision behind draining an adrenaline bar for canceling out of a hop jumper? Especially when you just added the new step through mechanics that require you do that if you want to combo them with hop jumpers?
@KentariusMCKin1@LakerFanYT That’s literally my point, I am also hitting those shots. They are more consistent than stand still jumpers, that IS the problem.
@DanielNels47570@LakerFanYT@Beluba It’s funny bc I can tell you why fades feel better too. They haven’t implemented the system(s) that alter your stand still jump shot timing window with fades (i.e., contests, stamina, adrenaline, catch animation, etc.). So the fade animation feels the same everytime regardless.
@LakerFanYT Laker I think the majority of complaints are related to the shot timing speeding up or slowing down in an unpredictable way. That’s a valid complaint in my opinion.
@KnicksXBucks@SteelHeart43@Beluba For the people that argue for “realism”, this would be the most realistic mechanic too. Great shooters try to shoot through contests and while fatigued by changing their mechanics as little as possible.
@LaQuanDaLious@BigTig_@Dirk_JDR We know it’s not the same literal RNG as 2K25, but it results in the same RNG effect where you can’t reliably predict what’s happening to your green window.
@dylandamain0@RSLFC_@toodamnturnup@sjaysftw They’re always going to find an away to cheat. Why do we have to harm gameplay for for the majority of the community who doesn’t cheat? And I can do better against cheaters if I don’t have my jumper changed unpredictably.
@maldsimulator3@Drew2Geechee@Jadens__@Beluba It’s not a skill gap if you can’t reasonably predict how something in game is going to affect where the center point of the green window is. It’s effectively RNG shooting through a different mechanism.
@SteelHeart43@KnicksXBucks@Beluba These things should all shrink your green window size from both ends (i.e., more strict on slightly early and and slight late timings), but the center point of the green window should always remain consistent so that you can learn it with practice.
@niceguycrispy@tonickeyboard Red plate is a red plate, if he’s walking around the city with it then I can almost guarantee it applies to all modes. This really is a shame, we don’t even get to learn the game before being thrown into sweat lobbies.
