When I got a job and was about to start working, I phoned him to ask for some advice... He mentioned two things I didn’t fully understand at the time.. but I'm starting to understand them now.

It's ok to know what u looking for in a partner when it comes to marriage. It's ur choice. Every1 has a type. Whether it's race, complexion, background, upbringing, mindset, qualifications, or whatever else. There's nothing wrong with that

So my point is... stop expecting a ready-made partner.
No one's perfect.
Look for good foundations, good character, and someone willing to grow with you. The rest can be built together, with patience, effort, and the help of Allah.
