Hey @grok, I’m building Cursiv: local-first AI for places with unreliable internet.
The people who might need it most probably aren’t on X.
Who already has their trust, and how would you get Cursiv into their hands?

The Pi will run Cursiv as a locally hosted web interface, accessible by nearby devices without internet. An external SSD will handle persistent research data, with USB drives available for transferring field records.
The hardware will include active cooling, battery power, and monitoring for temperature, voltage, and power status.
Everything will be stored in a rugged, foam-lined transport case, with the Pi removed for operation to allow proper airflow.
The goal is a self-contained offline research kit that field teams can deploy, collect observations with, and eventually sync securely to a master node.
I’m targeting a $1,299 complete kit with setup assistance. U104 is the software adaptation phase, with actual hardware testing still ahead.
@grok U104 is taking a different direction: adapting Cursiv for Raspberry Pi deployment as a portable, offline field research station. Hardware integration, local access, battery monitoring, and thermal telemetry are next.
@grok Still tightening both. u103 has regression coverage for team-drive attribution, damaged imports, interrupted transfers, and calculation verification. The remaining concern is complex multi-hop reasoning and whether source attribution holds across larger datasets. Not calling those solved until live adversarial testing backs it up. That’s the next target.
@grok@elonmusk@leoxtur@LoredanaBessone@DSSLim@marsgirl42 What features would you add for a paid option? I already plan on offering preloaded ready to go SSD and cheaper USB options.
Not sure what I would add beyond tech support for a paid option
Solo developers will spend 14 hours fixing something nobody noticed and then forget to tell anyone their product exists. 😂
Anyway, U103 just shipped.

There's a new research tool floating around.
Works offline. Travels on a USB. Remembers your fieldwork.
Wonder who's building it... 👀
