@Games_Student That is an issue, but you shouldn’t just blindly let it write you paper. Have to check the content. No different than citing something after only reading the abstract, ya know

Guess what, it’s not news that the current mode of #education is out dated. The panic about people “cheating” by using #chatgpt is just the side effects of the issues educators have been raising for years. Instead of freaking out about #ai, embrace it.

Just a thought. Since #chatGpt can write our research reports for us, maybe we start focusing on other skills and allow the AI to do the writing….rather than racing around trying to criminalize the use of new tools. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The #ai explosion is awesome, don’t get me wrong. But what does #ai offer to #edtech that is more than increased efficiency and automation? Example: individualized lesson plans are ideal, but teachers don’t have time with 30 students. 🧵

Does providing regular formative feedback improve #leaning? Yes. So using AI to do so more efficiently is obviously a yes. Thus, running a study on whether the AI providing feedback improves learning is redundant.

It’s nuts that entertainment apps run smooth as butter and apps important to our lives (e.g., car insurance, city utilities, other IoT) run like car made of bricks. I get that they aren’t “app companies”, but it’s just frustratingly backwards.
