本件について、ビザ・ワールドワイド・ジャパンに問い合わせたところ、以下の点を本日12月2日に確認が取れました。

・VISA本社（米国）が山田太郎に回答した内容に変更・追加はない
・報道のコメントは、アクワイアラーや決済代行会社等の現場の判断としてそのような場合があることを承知しているというもの

つまり、依然、VISA本社（米国）としても、ビザ・ワールドワイド・ジャパンとしても、私がVISA本社（米国）から得たものと齟齬がなく、以下が公式の見解とのことです。

・取引については、合法、非合法の法的判断は行っているが、合法であるコンテンツ等に対する価値判断は行なっていない。
・アダルトコンテンツに関しても、①年齢に関するルールが遵守されていること（児童ポルノではないこと）、②合意のもとで提供されるものであること、という万国共通の基準を定め、それに基づく判断を行なっているが、内容に関する基準は定めておらず、判断もしていない。
・VISA規約についても、本社は基準を決めているのみで、判断を行なっていない（判断を行うのは現場）
・VISA本社は、特定の用語（キーワード）を含むコンテンツについて、取扱ってはならない、と言った指示を出した事はない。

そもそも国際ブランドは割賦販売法の対象外という状況です。しかし、国民生活の安定と向上、公正かつ自由な競争の促進、表現の自由の確保等の観点から、国際ブランド・アクワイアラー・決済代行会社・イシュアーのそれぞれについて、どのようなルールが必要なのか、引き続き検討を進めていきます。

This man believes he must protect “Visa’s brand” by denying Japanese artists the ability to sell Japanese art to customers who want to buy it.

Notice this just says adult content. It isn’t talking about one questionable type and I have been warning that it has expanded well beyond any moral authority scope. It always starts with “think of the children”, but we see it now.

I still believe he is receiving marching orders from the American branch and is the fall guy.

Visa wants to “protect its brand” but will still service Hollywood and Netflix- shows like euphoria and cuties- all the sexual assault and rape that happens in Hollywood too- you’d think they’d want nothing to do with that.

Or the music industry- all the glorification of sex, sinful lifestyle, and practically naked twerking. That’s all fine- but Japanese adult content? Not fine.

Visa is currently being investigated by the US government for essentially buying up or snuffing out competition so there are no alternatives.

Crypto fixes this problem. Regardless how you feel about it or the “bros”, visa and Mastercard can’t stop crypto. Why do you think they are investing heavily into it still?
