@JeantyForSix As a true WR that includes deep balls you can’t put him ahead of Jefferson, Chase, JSN for sure. Number of other elite War’s to consider as well. Not sure top 5 but top 10 is a real spot
@Sanjit__T Big picture is yes the offense can be better and more consistent. But given all of that they are a 7th ranked scoring O. Thats amazing. But their D simply cannot get off the field. They did vs the winless dolphins and chargers. But vs good teams they are giving up 36 a game
@Sanjit__T 1 Int and short field. You know the D is allowed to make a stop as well. Many others do. What about 45 vs pats or 30 vs chiefs or 27 vs the all time great Tyler Shough and the Saints? What about when they tied the bills at 23 and the D gave up a TD in 5 plays right after
@john_m_98 Raiders have a 7th place scoring offense at 27 ppg. When’s the last time they had that? Only reason to play Mendoza now is “just want to see him play”. I get that mindset. But how about having some patience and faith in a 7 time SB champ and SB winning coach
@TheSoloLopez@Adamhxyz So pay 0 attention to a defense that’s bottom of the league in ppg allowed. 36 a game past 3 games. Let’s go all in on a 7th ranked off but mostly ignore a bottom Def hemorrhaging points. Not logical
@TheSoloLopez@Adamhxyz That’s irrelevant. A 7th place offense is a 7th place offense. Your D is giving up 36 a game the past few weeks and 30 plus overall. You can have Brady, Montana, Mahomes etc you aren’t winning w that. Anyone who doesn’t focus on the putrid D isn’t wanting a real discussion
@RaiderShields24 If I had told any raiders fan before season that the starting QB (whoever it is) will have 14 TD/5 int 100 rating and the Off avg 27 points a game and be a top 7 offense everyone would have been excited. Well that’s what’s happening. Some want to ignore the D giving up 34 a game
@Breshlo@TheRaiderRamble But as Brady and other greats have said much of QB is above the neck. And no matter how smart Mendoza is his few months of NFL play doesnt come close to Kirk’s 15 years. His processing and reads will not be close at this point. Eventually yes. There’s more than physical
@Breshlo@TheRaiderRamble Do I think Mendoza makes this Offense 30 a game no. Would be open up some things yes. No one debates he’s the future and hopefully a superstar.
@Sandblackedout@Adamhxyz I think they are doing both. On one hand establish a culture of no quit and fight. Execute (not always good but much better than years past). Get your future QB some good learning and experience. And realize where your deficiencies are be ready to bring in sides to help
@Adamhxyz@Sandblackedout Great point. If it’s just “I wanna see Mendoza” ok that’s how you feel. But to pretend like this team changes when he comes in is wild. He can do these things physically etc. yes he can. But a lot of QB is above the neck and he isn’t remotely close to a 15 year vet in that arena
@LVRaider_81 Disagree. When they are out of playoff contention and gauntlet is done then put him in. Rams haven’t looked good. Jets are jets. Niners and Seahawks will be a problem. Broncos away and then if losses pile up make the call. The O is avg 27 a game. Don’t start him in This gauntlet
@raiders1022@RaidersLead If I told any Lv fan your QB would have 14 TD/5 int 100 passer rating and lead your offense to 27 pts a game, that’s top 7-8 any Raider fan takes that. You ignore a D giving up 34 a game. Mendoza is the future. But mentally he won’t process near what Kirk can this early
