@ClarksonsFarm1 Until farmers start getting the money that is filling the pockets of all the food company CEOs & investors & board members - it isn't going to make a difference.
@DeeDobson139512 Many rural town restaurants, swimming pools, gas stations, etc. pay that low of a salary still - kids only other option is to drive 30 miles to a bigger town that pays more but spending the difference on gas $
@RichStapless@megatron853717 Are you a fucking moron, or do you just don't watch sports? Camera men do this all the damn time - which is why in crucial moments, whether nfl, nba, etc. - they keep the camera away.
@ClarksonsFarm1 We do both - use solar panels to block sun/hail for livestock, grass still grows & we make great supplemental $.
That's a win, win.
@PlasticGirl1776 This is what happens when you vote for folks that don't support open spaces/parks.
#1 - they pull funding, making money need to be made elsewhere.
#2 - the fees keep people away & they say "see, no one goes to these parks - so let's close them and put up commercial property".
@richard_4Him2@raisethewageok This way of thinking is why OK ranks at the bottom of every single category and is not even close to competing in the modern world.
Not to mention why every young person gets the fck out of that state as soon as they can.
@don_ukens@ClarksonsFarm1 You mean a farmer has decided to make more money leasing to a solar farm than making $50/acre after costs harvesting wheat or just having pastureland sit dormant 🤷♂️
Learn facts before you speak, idiot.
Farmers need $ and leasing to wind and solar are the #1 way.
