2 days ago ESPN produced a segment called ‘Caitlin Clark: Queen of Clap Backs 👑’. The focus; her clapping, “You’re down 15 points. Shut up,” and of course the “you can’t see me” hand wave.

Her “trash talk” was embraced and celebrated. It wasn’t stigmatized and pathologized.

@balleralert As an Afro Latina, YT presenting Latinos should not be allowed to use the n word. Latinidad does not always equal brethren or non racist. Many take advantage of minority opportunities equal to African presenting people whilst still having the mind of a colonizer.

@JHesterEl1 @RealDLHughley @lipstickalley I’m shocked by the responses. This is only the beginning. We are already struggling for equity, lack inclusion in history books and in business. Our students receive the least funding and find solace in these organizations. This should matter to any person of African descent.
