The #robertsondrawfire has seen low activity with some moisture though warmer weather and isolated thunderstorms are forecasted. A Type 4 local Incident Command Team have assumed command of the fire.

Crew members are completing a shaded fuel break to reduce wildfire risk to homes near the #RobertsonDrawFire. Shaded fuel breaks create an area of reduced vegetation but retain mature tree canopy. They act as a buffer to slow fire intensity by reducing fuel density.

The evacuation warning for the Rock Creek Drainage area south of Red Lodge has been lifted by Carbon County Sheriff's Office. Residents and visitors should stay updated and aware of the fire situation.

An increase in fire activity on the #RobertsonDrawFire today. Smoke is originating from the western fire perimeter. Additional aerial resources have been ordered and a large helicopter is dropping water buckets. Please call the information line at 406-290-3559 with questions.
#RobertsonDrawFire Update for 7/19/21. Heat Advisory and Red Flag Warning in place. A Red Flag Warning means critical fire weather conditions may or are occurring. Low humidity, high temps, and wet/dry thunderstorms with gusty winds may contribute to extreme fire behavior.
