@LexaproTrader I think you’re digging for confirmation biased responses my guy. Anyone that provides a counter point is immediately labeled a pump fun PR bot 🤣
True, however; they did already change the callout system as a step in this direction. There is only so much a platform can do to prevent the problems we are facing. The kind of solutions people are begging for would unfortunately require heavy institutional involvement with heavy regulation. I’d rather a Wild West market than a heavily regulated market controlled by even bigger people. That’s what the stock market is for.
Whether people like it or not, @Pumpfun is doing it right. Multichain support all in one app with a straightforward interface that incentivizes engagement.
The minimum wage argument is a bit weak. Even in my area having a poor job market pays more than minimum wage. Businesses have to in order to keep workers. With that said, even at $15 an hour you’re still looking at a harder time getting a house compared to back then when coupling it with other living costs.
The struggle is going to be making it perform while being idiot proof. Simply having an automated trading system doesn’t mean it’s going to magically make money. A lot of people are going to find the harsh reality that it will likely lose money more than earn if they don’t know how to set it up properly.
This is true, although I’d argue pump also capitalized on an opportunity first. Regardless, a platform similar to pump would have been built if it wasn’t pump. I definitely hate the direction the market has gone but at the same time I’m aware that it was inevitable. Just like me being aware that trenches will never be the same. It’s going to be automated trading and who has the best strategy doing so.
