Clarification - I think it’s likely more about continuity. We could absolutely see this team run more wrinkles with four starters (if you count Chance) returning and with likely all five being plus shooters.

Feel like these kinds of rankings will catch up to Odom eventually - but haven’t yet.

Virginia was predicted to finish 5th in the conference nationally before finishing 2nd and going 30-6 and returns four of the best players in the conference last year.

And, yes, I do think Odom is significantly better than PK.

Random idea: would someone want to do some in-season non-uva recording for Cuts so that we can get a repository going for next years transfers? It’s gotten hard to rely on what’s out there and I’m focused on us in season.

Def. possible Jurian could still work his way in, but I might have expected he'd have started yesterday given Nolan's later arrival.

I thought this lineup clearly missed Mallory but looked pretty good in its few minutes played together. Was massive.

TDR and Johann look very confident in that outside shot.

@Tugard1Tugard I'm sorry, I don't accept this as a viable option and will be shocked if he's in the rotation during the season. If we can't rebound with a backup Center in the game then we should just go small and alternate our coverages.

This is Sept. Ibe has over a month to learn more.

Just finished my watch. First thoughts:

Eli should have a real role on this team.

I was disappointed in HOW much Lang played. Ibe is oozing with potential but needs so many reps. Lang in the second wave wasn’t encouraging and I hope more a nod to his contributions.

That or we need to implement alt pnr solutions.

Simply cannot use Lang. Hoping this was a scrimmage/Vandy/seniority thing.

It could be Dixon.

I think they like the size and energy Adekunle brings since Sam can play SG. It’s telling he was already in the starting five despite still having some adjustments to make.

You don’t lose shooting and are better defensively and on the glass.

@markmandichak His shot is definitely better. Hit two threes and a midrange pull up today. Looked fluid.

Still room to improve but that was the biggest area of development.

I have a suspicion he’ll get more time than Carrere and possibly Harmon.
