The final episode of our Playing Through series presented by @MichelobULTRACA takes you to Guelph’s @CuttenFields.
Located in the heart of Guelph, Ont., the course was founded by Arthur Cutten and designed by American Chick Evans, who sought help from Stanley Thompson. In recent years, the course underwent a significant tree removal program and was restored by Jeff Mingay, who brought back bunker and green shapes of the original layout while overhauling two holes. The result is a golf course that appeared on SCOREGolf’s Top 100 ranking for the first time in 2024, placing 69th.
Listen now to Episode 11 of Canadian Turf Talks. Our hosts chat with @jeff_mingay and Bill Green @CuttenFields about golf course design and renovations. A take home message is that COMMUNICATION IS KEY! #CdnTurfTalks https://t.co/k3Cxm8cuzx
