@JoJoFromJerz So people understand curing means finding the voters of ballots that had a missing or wrong date or some technical problem and having the voter fix it. The vote itself can’t be changed.
@heymrsbond My own children were best served at charter Montessori for many years. I now work at a private school for diverse learners after years at Title 1 schools. I am Still conflicted. These options are great for individuals, not great for disadvantaged schools.
@heymrsbond Elias or Elijah classic and about as uncommon as Vivienne and same number of syllables. If you like shortening names you would have Eli and Vivi. Plus plenty of people of different races and ethnicities have the name. Another idea: Tyson
@heymrsbond Great reminder and if I may add on, adult size chairs are uncomfortable for short people who must decide to dangle their legs or sit forward all day. Time to stretch is helpful for brain and comfort.
@mraspinall My son wore his beanie daily and daily was told to remove it. I only learned about this when my son proudly announced that the teacher finally gave up. My son is a good kid but decided that was his battle he was willing to fight. Stubborn teens and stupid rules don’t mix.
@swethamaddipudi I would love to know how to say your name. I admit to changing my name when I travel because it is so difficult for many non-English speakers to say. But I always work hard to address people as they introduce themselves, even if it takes a few tries.
@hinson_addie @Simone_Biles I hope your daughter finds another pasion that fills that space. For my daughter, diving has been great and she had the new experience of school friends and participating in school activities.
@Bert_24_7@Eric_McGuyer@MrNunesteach I appreciate your valuable experience. Thanks for providing them such a great opportunity. And I love the idea of free accessible higher education.
@AMS_OLC@Eric_McGuyer@MrNunesteach Sounds like one that my son and his college bound friends are in. I love those opportunities and would love to expand their availability. I just want to ensure that everyone who wants to prepare for college gets the opportunity for that too.
@PatriciaCLee @Eric_McGuyer@MrNunesteach In many cases aptitude is a fancy word to reinforce classism. Aptitude changes with motivation and support. As a former teacher in Title 1 schools I saw lots of kids whose lack of resources looked like lack of aptitude.
@Eric_McGuyer@MrNunesteach Work in what way? I am interested in learning more. Who decides what tracks kids go on, how flexible are the tracks, and what are the benefits?
