Young Indigenous people often feel enormous pressure to learn and preserve languages that are at risk of falling silent. Language revitalization is necessary, but that responsibility cannot rest on their shoulders alone. Learners need encouragement, patience, and safe places where mistakes are treated as part of learning—not reasons for embarrassment.
